Suppressed Memories Pt.1

Lots of things can be fixed. Things can be fixed. But many times, relationships between people cannot be fixed, because they should not be fixed. You’re aboard a ship setting sail, and the other person has joined the inland circus, or is boarding a different ship, and you just can’t be with each other anymore. Because you shouldn’t be.” C. JoyBell. C

The message while simple to read is not the simplest to understand. It’s something many people can’t understand, wanting to fix something that is unfixable. People come and go out of our lives and they all teach us something. You do not simply cross paths with others for no reason at all. Every guy/girl you date is going to be the wrong one until you cross paths with your soulmate. Soulmate, an intriguing word to me, the person whom I’m not sure if I have found yet. I may have lost him along the way, maybe he is in my life today. That’s something I’ll have to wait around for in order to realize, only time will tell, or maybe it’s no one at all. Who knows? Only time can tell.

Time, what a funny thing. Time, is inevitable with each second that goes by. We can try and grasp it but we can’t. A second, minute, hour you’ll be able to hold onto for the moment, the memory, or you’ll want to leave a bad situation but it’ll be gone before you know it. Everything just becomes a memory. Things that were no longer are. People change, feelings change and there’s nothing we can do about it. Just as we change on others. Change is inevitable and we can’t escape it. As we grow we change sometimes for better sometimes for worse. Time is what tells us what we were and what we are, how we felt and how we feel, how we think and how we act. Whether you want to remember or suppress the memories that’s all up to you. The fact that it happened is something you can do nothing about.
